The Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee (TTOC) is pleased to announce that the TeamTTO delegation for the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games was officially ratified earlier today during the TTOC’s General Council Meeting.
As part of the TTOC’s process all teams attending a multisport games under the TTOC’s umbrella must be ratified by its general council before taking part. This ratification represents a significant milestone in TeamTTO's preparations and confirms the athletes, officials, medical personnel, and support staff selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago on the regional stage.
Leading TeamTTO is Chef de Mission Lovie Santana-Duke, supported by Assistant Chef de Mission Reyah Richardson, alongside a dedicated team responsible for athlete welfare, administration, communications, and operational support.
TeamTTO will travel to Santo Domingo with a total delegation of 215 members, comprising 145 athletes and supported by coaches, managers, medical personnel, and technical staff.

TeamTTO will also be supported by an experienced medical team led by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jude Mc Knight, alongside a team of doctors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, and athletic therapy personnel dedicated to athlete care and performance support.
At the Santo Domingo 2026 CAC Games, TeamTTO athletes will compete across 28 sporting disciplines, demonstrating the country's broad representation and continued growth in sport.

In addition to TeamTTO's broad representation across multiple sporting disciplines, Santo Domingo 2026 will mark a historic milestone for Trinidad and Tobago sport, as TeamTTO will, for the first time, field a Women's 3x3 Basketball team at the Central American and Caribbean Games.
The achievement represents another significant step in the continued growth and development of women's sport in Trinidad and Tobago and highlights the expanding opportunities available for female athletes on the regional stage.
TTOC President, Diane Henderson, welcomed the ratification of the delegation and emphasized the significance of the Games to national sport development:
"The Central American and Caribbean Games continue to serve as an important platform for our athletes to demonstrate their talent, commitment, and determination at the regional level. We are proud of the delegation selected to represent Trinidad and Tobago and commend the athletes, coaches, officials, and support teams for the dedication they have shown throughout this process. We are also excited to witness milestones such as the inclusion of our first Women's 3x3 Basketball team, which reflects the continued growth and progress of sport in Trinidad and Tobago."
Chef de Mission Lovie Santana-Duke expressed confidence in TeamTTO's preparation and readiness:
